Functions and working principle:
PPS is a strong leveling agent in nickel plating. It should be used in combination with the secondary brightener containing such as alkynol, ether and its derivatives, so producing compensation effect, obtained deposits will be bright, smooth, mirrorlike lustrous. The product gives excellent leveling effect at high current density areas, especially used to metal parts polished or not polished; not only reducing the mean brightener consumption and plating time, but also increasing quantity and decreasing cost. Over-addition also dose not produce embrittle deposits or bare spot at low current density areas.
