CT-95 high-performance KCl galvanized brightener is a new type brightener developed though our long-term research and practice. It has broad range of current density, broad range of permitted temperature and high brightness, so it is suitable for low-chrome or extra low-chrome passivation. The brighter contains make-up A and additive B.

Preparation
- Take one half of total volume hot water (50℃) to dissolve measured KCl; add ZnCl2 into it; and then mix them entirely till dissolve.
- Dissolve measured H3BO3 with boiling water and then pour the above solution into it. Add water to regulated volume.
- Add 0.5ml/L H2O2. Mix it for 1.5-2h and place it still for filtration. Regulate PH value to 5.5 with HCl or NaOH; and then add CT-95A (make-up) before electroplating.
Maintenance and management
- Pretreatment has to be done entirely, or bonding force will not be good.
- Test it every week to keep component content within technical range.
- The solution is easy to be polluted by iron impurity, so it has to be processed with 3% H2O2 for 2-3 times every day.
- Solution PH value shall increase gradually, but it may be regulated with 10% HCl.
Storage and transportation This product is brown-red liquid, belongs to un- dangerous product. So it is supposed to be stored in dark room. |
